Dynaudio officially launches Opus One luxury immersive audio system

dynaudio news 6.2026

Copenhagen, Denmark – 10th June, 2026 – Dynaudio, the legendary Danish audio company – set to celebrate its 50th anniversary next year – is launching its luxury immersive audio system, Opus One. The launch is taking place in Dynaudio’s new concept showroom at Møntergade 19 as part of Copenhagen’s 3 Days of Design Festival.

Opus One is the centrepiece of a home music ecosystem. Its 186cm wingspan is designed to integrate perfectly with 83in TVs, and houses cutting-edge audio tech for music, movies and gaming. Its precision-machined aluminium-alloy frame is covered with a tactile, Nordic-inspired fabric to blend in with modern homes and listening rooms.

The 72 motorised Japanese oak fins (made by high-end furniture company Karimoku) move independently to display the current listening mode, and conceal 24 drive-units (six soft-dome tweeters, 14 mid/bass drivers and four innovative dual-diaphragm force-cancelling subwoofers). The system is powered by a massive 1500W of digital amplification, and marshalled by proprietary Dynaudio spatial-audio processing algorithms.

The system has been designed to be incredibly easy to use, with no special audio knowledge needed. During set-up, a microphone built into the included remote control is used to help Opus One sense where it’s been placed in the room (on an equipment stand, mounted on a wall or in free space), and then the system takes it from there – optimising its acoustic performance for that specific position.

In the future, Dynaudio intends to extend support for wireless subwoofers and rear surround speakers, all integrated into the same system.

Opus One will initially be available for sale in Denmark and China, before rolling out to other territories globally. The base model will cost €13,000 RRP, with stands and mounting accessories costing between €500 and €5000.
