Ultrasone Releases Last of its Limited Edition 9 Headphones

Wildemar, CA-based Ultrasone Inc., the U.S. distribution arm of the German headphone manufacturer Ultrasone AG, has announced the release of the last of its very limited availability Edition 9 headphones.  Intended as a “statement class” product, the $1799 Edition 9 is targeted toward discerning high-end audiophiles and record studio personnel, and is said to offer unrivaled “sonic clarity and transparency.”

According to a company release, the Edition 9s feature “Ultrasone’s finest titanium plated drivers, distinctive black chrome ear cups, and show attention has been paid to even the smallest construction details, such as “the use of Ethiopian sheep leather in ear pads and (the) headphone pad, ensuring the listener maximum comfort.” The release adds that the headphones “come in a sleek metal attaché case for safe storage and transportation.

If interested, reader may need to act immediately because quantities of Edition 9s are extremely limited. The release quotes Ultrasone Inc. President Paul Taylor as saying “I anticipate that the remaining Edition 9 headphones will be sold before the holidays.
