SAT will present its new SAT XD1 Record Player System in the U.S. at an exclusive event on June 1st from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Audio Salon in Santa Monica, CA.
SAT founder and designer Marc Gomez will be on-hand to discuss the turntable and the design differences and development of his latest CF1 and LM series of tonearms, and Michael Fremer will spin some vinyl selections.
The new SAT XD1 turntable and SAT tonearms, which will be fitted with the Lyra Atlas SL and Ortofon MC Century cartridges, will be demo’d in a no-holds-barred system that will also include Wilson Audio WAMM Master Chronosonic loudspeakers and Master Subsonic subwoofers, electronics by Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems, equipment stands by Harmonic Resolution Systems, and the gear will be wired with Transparent Audio’s Magnum Opus cables.
This event will be an open house with multiple presentations throughout the day; no RSVP is necessary. Private appointments at other times throughout the weekend can also be scheduled. The Audio Salon can be contacted directly at (310) 863-0863.
