Stenheim Presents the World Premiere of the Alumine Two.Five at High End Munich

The following is a press release issued by Stenheim.

Vetroz, Switzerland, May 11, 2023 — Stenheim, the Switzerland-based speaker company that utilizes aluminum cabinets and high-efficiency drivers to bring out the natural beauty and elegance of the finest recordings, will show its new Alumine Two.Five, a passive two-way, floorstanding, high-performance speaker that incorporates the company’s essential design attributes in an elegant tower that adapts to most living spaces.

The new Alumine Two.Five (MSRP: $23,500), like other models in Stenheim’s Alumine series of advanced technology speakers, builds on the simplicity of the original bookshelf Alumine Two, but with greater cabinet volume and double bass drivers for lower extension. The high efficiency concept means is it fully compatible with a wide range of currently available amplifiers, including low-power amplifiers.

“The Alumine Two.Five is an important introduction for us because its price puts it within reach of a greater number of music lovers who want to experience the Stenheim sound for themselves,” said Jean-Pascal Panchard, CEO-Owner, Stenheim Suissa SA. “Although it is our entry-level floorstanding speaker there is nothing entry-level about its performance.”

The new tower, which, like all Stenheim speakers, was designed and will be hand-built in Switzerland, features two (2) 6.5” woofers and one (1) 1” soft dome tweeter in a front bass reflex design.

The Alumine Two.Five will be shown at Munich in the Stenheim room, Atrium 4.1 Room F113, and will be available in Q3 2023.

New Reference Platform

Also at Munich, Stenheim is introducing a solid aluminum billet platform for the company’s Reference Ultime Two and Three speakers.

Designed to enhance stability and ease of setup, the new Reference platform (MSRP: TBD) creates an enlarged footprint and a high range of adjustment. In addition, the platform simplifies the task of switching from castors that enable the speakers to be easily positioned, to the spikes that provide permanent support. Three different spike ends are designed to be optimized for thick carpet, hard, and delicate floors. Optimal set-up is achieved through knurled knobs that provide 10 cms/4 in. of height adjustment.

The new platform will be shown at Munich in the Dartzeel room, Atrium 4.2 Room F213, and will be available in Q3 2023.
