Raidho Introduces the New TD4.2

Raidho Introduces the New TD4.2

The following is a press release issued by Raidho.

March 18, 2019 – Building on the succes of the D4.1, our chief-designer, Benno Baun Meldgaard and his team, has done the impossible, and made our D4.1 even better.

Based on the succes of our flagship, the TD4.8, we have adapted the technologies used here to create the new TD4.2. Carrying on the beautiful design of Michael Børresen, the TD4.2 has moved on to the next level, introducing our acclaimed Tantalum-Diamond-drivers and the updated ribbon-tweeter continues the legacy as one of the best tweeters in the world.

By adding the Tantalum-coating to the already excellent Diamond-drivers, we have achieved a cone which is even stiffer. The cone is a 5-layer cone with even higher levels of inner damping. In combination with the upgraded magnet system with the new SD-cap, stronger magnets and better voicecoil, the TD4.2 will give the qualities of the TD4.8, but in a size that is a little more room friendly.

The tweeter also is upgraded with a more powerful magnet system, making it more sensitive, but with the same open and detailed sound that is a Raidho-trademark. The internals of the cabinet has also been improved, resulting in deeper frequency response and a sound that is more natural while providing a huge soundstage.

We will introduce this new model at Axpona in Room 434, where we will present it to the world for the first time.

Improving our technology is simply a part of the Raidho-DNA. Designed and built in Denmark.

Recommended retail-prices:
