Popori Acoustics Now Availble in The United States

Falls Church, VA | May 31^th, 2023 –  Notable Audio Products, importers and distributors of exceptional European audio products, has been appointed the exclusive United States distributor by Popori Acoustics.

After their landmark debut at the Audio Video Show Warsaw in November 2022, Popori Acoustics commenced serial production of their game-changing electrostatic speakers.

During the development process, Mr. Popori met accomplished industrial designer Gabor Marko and his father, Istvan Marko, a gifted craftsman. Their shared love of music and their mutual pursuit of perfection inspired them to join forces and create the current line of Popori Acoustics speakers.

Popori’s proprietary methods for stretching the membrane (diaphragm) and advanced stator construction enable his speakers to reproduce music with extremely low levels of distortion, extended frequency response, a massive soundstage, and dynamics never before possible with electrostatic speakers. Popori extensively employs CNC machines to further ensure consistent, high-precision results.

Another departure from traditional electrostatic speakers is that Popori speakers do not look like “Science projects”, but instead represent high fashion.  By wisely choosing to use Corian® to cover their speakers’ aluminum frames, the speakers become highly inert while allowing them to be customized in nearly any RAL color, pattern, etching, or laser engraving.  The finish options are almost endless.

Popori’s comprehensive speaker line starts with the W360, which has a frequency response of 40 – 20k Hz and a sensitivity of 89 dB, in 63.9” H x 16.3” x 14.4” form factor and extends to their flagship XR1 model that boasts a frequency response of 20 – 20k Hz and a sensitivity of 96 dB, in 70.6” H x 50.8” W x 17.2’ D package.

Popori will hold its worldwide debut of its latest narrow profile WR2 XL speakers and the US debut of its WR1 speakers at the Pacific Audio Fest in Seattle from June 23 – June 25, 2023.
