Orchard Audio Introduces Rolling Input Buffer Upgrade for Starkrimson & Starkrimson 25 Mono Premium Amplifiers

Starkrimson 25 Mono Premium Front and Back

Succasunna, NJ – Orchard Audio today announced the release of a new Rolling Input Buffer Upgrade for the Starkrimson Mono Premium and Starkrimson 25 Mono Premium amplifiers. This enhancement was created after extensive customer feedback and repeated requests from users who wanted greater flexibility in shaping the input stage of their amplifiers.

The new upgrade adds a dedicated input buffer board equipped with a DIP8 socket, enabling opamp rolling. This gives users the ability to finetune the amplifier’s sonic character, system synergy, and gain structure with any compatible dual DIP8 opamp.

The buffer board includes a Sparkos SS3602 dual opamp pre-installed and offers selectable 0 dB or 6 dB gain, allowing users to optimize the amplifier for their specific system needs. Installation is performed directly at Orchard Audio to ensure proper integration and performance.

“Many of our customers are passionate about refining their systems and experimenting with different components,” said Leo Ayzenshtat, founder of Orchard Audio. “This upgrade exists because of them. Their feedback, requests, and enthusiasm for customization directly shaped this product.”

The Rolling Input Buffer Upgrade is available immediately and can be added to any existing Starkrimson Mono Premium or Starkrimson 25 Mono Premium amplifier. To celebrate the launch, Orchard Audio is offering a limitedtime discount: the normal upgrade cost is $600, but early adopters can upgrade two amplifiers for $500 during the introductory period. Customers simply send in their units for installation and testing.
