Newvelle Records Presents Season Two

The following is a press release issued by Newvelle Records.

December 19, 2016 – Newvelle Records is a new type of label dedicated to quality and where musicians’ rights are protected.  Each year we record and release 6 records, exclusively on vinyl and with curated artwork and literature.  In our second season we’re not only featuring a roster of incredible artists, but best-selling author Douglas Kennedy is writing original content and we’re presenting photography from the astonishing French collective Tendance Floue.

Our second season of records includes:

• John Patitucci Trio Featuring Yotam Silberstein and Rogerio Boccato  February 2017
• Kevin Hays and Lionel Loueke Duo   April 2017
• Jon Cowherd Quartet featuring Steve Cardenas, Tony Sher and Brian Blade June 2017
• Chris Tordini Trio featuring Becca Stevens and Greg Ruggerio   August 2017
• Aruán Ortiz solo piano revisiting the music of the great Cuban classical composer Ignacio Cervantes  October 2017
• Rufus Reid Trio with Steve Allee and Duduka Da Fonseca and featuring the Sirius String Quartet  December 2017

These vinyl records will only be available to members of Newvelle. Membership cost is $360.  Members receive one record sent to their door every two months.

Our First Season Box Set is available as a complete box set for a special promotion will be sent via 3 day mail in time for the holidays for $400.  This set of six records includes, Jack DeJohnette’s only solo piano record, Don Friedman’s last studio recording and a record out just this week featuring Leo Genovese, Esperanza Spalding and Jack DeJohnette.
