October 19, 2017 – Featuring a fabulous array of world-class musical artists performing classical, jazz, a cappella vocal, tasteful popular, classical guitar, and other delightful styles of music, the inaugural series of the COLDWELL BANKER GLOBAL LUXURY CONCERT SERIES 2017-18 will be held in the beautiful Latilla Ballroom of the spectacular Boulders Resort & Spa. The debut concert is scheduled for Sunday, November 19, 2017, beginning at 3 PM. The kick-off concert will feature pianist extraordinaire Nicole Pesce, with the impeccably tasteful “Nicole Pesce Jazz Trio” including drummer Dom Moio and bassist Bob Lashier. Tickets, $25 per concert, may be purchased via credit card at the official concert series website www.ColdwellBankerConcerts.eventbrite.com where additional information is posted, or by cash payment at the Latilla Ballroom “Will Call” desk.
Highlights of this highly diverse concert series include Brazilian classical guitarist Eduardo Minozzi Costa, who will share a performance with the 20 member vocal ensemble A Cappella Syndicate on January 14; acclaimed songstress Alice Tatum and her jazz quartet (February 25); and singer-songwriter-guitarist Omar Mondragon de Leon, who will sing original as well as memorable songs in English, Spanish, and Italian on March 25.
Saxophonist Joseph Wytko, who has performed as soloist in Carnegie Recital Hall, will present a concert on December 17. This concert will be an eclectic blend of music by Schubert, Ravel, Gershwin, Sondheim, Piazzolla, Dave Brubeck-Paul Desmond, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and others. The season’s Grand Finale Concert, scheduled for April 22, 2018, will feature powerful vocalist Renee Grant Patrick, daughter of renowned Ink Spots singer George Grant. Joined by classical/jazz/Latin violinist Suzanne Lansford and keyboardist Nicole Pesce, Renee will be showcased with the incredibly gifted trio We3.
