E.A.T. to Unveil New Ultra-High Performance Platter and Tonearm at AXPONA 2019

Lake Grove, NY | April 8^th, 2019 – VANA, Ltd. (www.vanaltd.com) has announced the arrival of the European Audio Team (E.A.T) F-Note tonearm as well as an optional high-inertia platter/bearing combo. The new tonearm is compatible with the company’s Forte’ and Forte’ S turntables, while the platter has been specifically designed for the Forte’. A universal version of the tonearm is expected later in 2019. These new products as well as a selection of E.A.T., Audio Physic and Okki Nokki products will be on display at the 2019 AXPONA expo, April 12-14 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL.

Armed and Ready
The E.A.T. F-Note tonearm is a 12-inch S-shaped arm featuring an easily accessible VTA-on-the-fly adjustment knob, adjustable azimuth and a laser built in to the tonearm base, enabling ultra-precise VTA (vertical tracking angle) calibration. MSRP for the F-Note is $7995 USD and E.A.T. will offer package prices for purchase with Forte’ and Forte’ S turntables.

More Brass Equals More Mass
E.A.T.’s new high-inertia platter/bearing combo is a 50 lb. aluminum assembly featuring a top layer of brass capped with a vinyl mat made from recycled LPs bonded to the brass surface. The outer circumference of the platter has been fitted with brass cylinders, increasing overall inertia resulting in outstanding speed stability. The massive bearing has been engineered specifically for this high-mass platter, featuring a Nanotechnology coating process derived from racing engines that produces the lowest possible friction coefficient. The dual-motor Forte’ turntable is ideally suited to this high-inertia platter assembly that delivers ultra-low flutter and astonishing dynamics. MSRP for the Forte’ turntable with the standard platter is $9,495 USD. MSRP with the high-inertia platter is $10,995. E.A.T. has also introduced a version of the Forte’ featuring fine leather side panels. MSRP for the leather version is $9,995.
