Paradigm considers its 1991 Eclipse Monitor to be the firm's most iconic product, partly because the speaker embodies the design rigor and discipline that characterizes Paradigm to this day, but also because it was the immediate precursor to Paradigm's Reference range.
Even though the Eclipse Monitors were created more than twenty years ago, their performance specifications (frequency response: 35Hz-20kHz +/-2dB, on axis; 35Hz-15kHz +/-2dB, 30 degrees off-axis) would still be considered extremely impressive by contemporary standards.
