November 7, 2016 – With great sadness we announce the death of Josef W. Manger.
Josef W. Manger was the founder of Manger Audio. His journey began more than 40 years ago when he was unsatisfied with the way traditional loudspeakers sounded. He invested endless hours, weeks, months and many years to find a better ways to a more natural audio reproduction. His consistent dedication to this area eventually led to the Manger Sound Transducer. Up until his death, Mr. Manger has been an avid thinker and has come up with even more solutions in audio technology. Throughout his lifetime, Josef W. Manger has been awarded 40 patents and was given the renowned Diesel Medal in 1982, one of the highest awards for outstanding achievements in engineering.
His daughter Daniela Manger has been leading the company since many years and will continue to not only share her dads passion for technology and natural audio reproduction, but also strive to grow the companies vision and product line, solidifying Manger Audio and its products worldwide as the high end audio brand.
Josef W. Manger has died October 27th, 2016 at the age of 87.
