As with the other Telos amplifiers, the 590 NextGen II integrated also benefits from the latest developments of the NextGen circuit technology. With 215 Wrms per channel (on 8 Ω / 1 % THD), this model provides outstanding dynamics and exerts strict control over speaker drive units, producing an exceptionally tight, detailed yet delicate sound. The Telos 590 NextGen II benefits from considerably improved thermal dissipation of the ultra-linear transistors used for the amplification. This is achieved thanks to the combination of two heat-sinks and an aluminum conductive strut that cancels the need for a dissipation fan. The result is a particularly quiet stereo amplifier with a constant optimal temperature, even at increasing sonic levels. Two toroidal transformers give it the extreme speed demanded by the Goldmund Telos technology standards. A high performance D to A circuit improves its dynamics and resolution, making it both clear and spatial.
