Bowers & Wilkins Launches P3 Series 2 Headphones

The following is a press release issued by Bowers & Wilkins.

September 7, 2016 - Bowers & Wilkins is proud to announce P3 Series 2, a new and improved version of the award-winning P3 headphones. Bowers & Wilkins has five decades of acoustic and design excellence behind it, and with P3 Series 2, it has utilized that experience to produce luxurious, lightweight on-ear headphones without compromising on sound quality.

P3 Series 2 is perfect for people who demand pristine sound on the go. Its lightweight frame and innovative folding mechanism are both deceptively strong and comfortable. Plus, P3 Series 2 is easy to stash away in a coat pocket or purse and comes with its own hard shell carry case to protect it when not in use.

In order to deliver P3 Series 2’s natural-sounding acoustics and incredible clarity, Bowers & Wilkins engineers have developed a small drive unit that uses a unique damping system to control diaphragm movement. The result is incredibly precise sound, with big, extended bass that packs a remarkable punch for a headphone of its size.

P3 Series 2 keeps the light, portable and foldable elements of the P3 headphone but now benefits from a premium black leather finish. The P3 Series 3 is crafted from the finest materials, including aluminum and sheep leather, for performance, luxury and durability.

P3 Series 2 comes with a remote/microphone attachment that works seamlessly with an iPhone® and another ‘universal’ cable that ensures compatibility with all other mobile phones and MP3 players. Swapping cables is easy, and simply involves popping off the replaceable ear pads.

The new P3 Series 2 is priced at $149.99 and available online immediately at and in retail locations by Sept. 15, 2016.
