Best speakers match Sugden a21 SE

Anybody can suggest what speakers might be good match for Sugden a21 SE?

I have old AKAI SW 155 and the sound is horrible. It seems to me I need to replace the speakers but I have no idea which ones? I'm sure my amp is good. Please advice

    Hello,

    I would start by trying another set of speakers, ANY set of speakers that you know are not broken. Try them to make sure your amplifier IS good. Then begin your speaker search by reading one of TAS's buyer's guides. That will give you some direction for your quest.

    My amp is good for sure, but the sound lacks deep and low frequency, One of the problem (I believe is power cable which I have to replace) but still, I've heard that Sugden likes just few speakers (like Living Voice or ProAc)?! Is that right?

    • Usually I find that loss of bass is a physical room problem as opposed to a gear problem. I strongly suggest moving your listening position and speakers around before blaming the gear... — StevenStone January 04, 2013 10:13 a.m.
