Squeezebox and Air Play

Is it possible to run Audirvana on an iMac and wirelessly transmit to my Squeezebox Touch which in turn connects digitally - via a 75ohm digital cable - to an External DAC/Preamp.  Squeezebox works great with iTunes and I use the Squeezebox app to control song selection but will I be able to control Audirvana the same way?  I want to be able to download and use 24/96 FLAC files.

I tried to contact Audirvana but can't find a support number in America (or anywhere else for that matter).

    I thought that FLAC wasn't supported by Apple iTunes.  Is that not true?

    Short answer - no.

    Audirvana is a Mac-based player. The Touch is a server/renderer that uses WiFI or Ethernet to connect to your computer.

    Although they both use and share iTunes catalogs for their data-base and music files, they are for different purposes.

    Audrvana plays back through USB, FireWire or any other output formats from a Mac. It does not output to WiFi or Ethernet. The Touch outputs S/PDIF, Toslink, or analog from file sources available on your home network or via the Internet.

    The Touch already supports 96/24 Flac natively - just go to your prefs and turn on the right file conversion options.
