Hi-Fi Centre, of Vancouver, BC, is pleased to announce the opening of a brand-new, 5,000-sq.-ft. audio/video showroom, in the Gastown district. The grand opening event will take place on Friday, February 27, 2015, in the new store located in the newly renovated BC Electric Building, at 433 Carrall Street. The 30-year-old, family-owned Hi-Fi Centre, founded by Alex Kivritsky, represents some of the finest manufacturers of high-performance audio, home theatre, whole-house audio, compact systems, and headphones.
With great attention paid to detail, the unique new location has been completely renovated to give customers a luxurious experience: architectural glass and lighting, plus the finest accouterments, from bespoke woodwork and antiques to stunning glass jewelry cases for the display of smaller accessories.
Customers can try out the latest headphones in a custom-made display, demo audio components in five dedicated listening rooms, or experience a movie in one of Vancouver’s most powerful home theatres.
Within the store is the new sensory retail design concept by Bang & Olufsen. Hi-Fi Centre is the first showroom in Canada to showcase this new design which has been adopted in Copenhagen, New York, and Chicago.
Igor Kivritsky, owner of Hi-Fi Centre, said, “I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved in the new location. This store takes the presentation of audio and video products to an entirely new level and will give customers an experience that is unrivalled anywhere in North America.”
Award-winning brands represented by Hi-Fi Centre include: Audeze, AudioQuest, Auralic, Bowers & Wilkins, Bryston, Classé, dCS, Denon, Digital Projection, Epson, European Audio Team, Grado, Isotek, Kaleidescape, Linn, Lyra, Magnepan, McIntosh Naim, Primare, Rega, REL, Rotel, Savant, Sennheiser, Sharp, Sonos, Sonus Faber, Totem Acoustic, Transparent Cable, Vicoustic and Vienna Acoustics.
