Hanson Audio of Dayton, OH, invites hi-fi aficionados to attend a special booksigning and listening event in its showroom on March 24 from 5–9 p.m.
Meet members of the TAS editorial staff who will be signing copies of The Absolute Sound’s Illustrated History of High-End Audio, Vol. 2: Electronics book. Jonathan Valin, Executive Editor of TAS and the Illustrated History series, and Julie Mullins, Managing Editor of TAS and Vol. 2 of the Illustrated History books, will be attending along with Andre Jennings, analog expert and frequent TAS reviewer.
Attendees can take advantage of special book pricing offered at the event.
Plenty of high-end-audio listening will also be in store for guests: A trio of rooms will demo high-end gear from several top international brands. The McIntosh Reference System (pictured above) will be featured, including MC2KW amps, C1000 preamp, XRT2K speakers, an MT5 turntable and MCD1100 SACD transport/DAC, and MB100 Media Bridge. In other rooms, hear Bowers & Wilkins 802 D3 speakers driven by Octave Jubilee electronics with a Clearaudio Innovation turntable and Goldfinger cartridge; Focal Sopra No. 1 speakers driven by a Devialet D200 integrated with Bluesound and Auralic Aries sources.
Nordost reps will be on-hand to demonstrate how cables can and do make a difference.
Enjoy a selection of hors d’oeuvres and beverages while listening. This event is free and open to all. RSVP here, and visit our Facebook event page.
